Sunshine, fair weather friend
and ally when tensions
are high. We both know that I
only have to step outside
and breathe, where you
are there to comfort me.
Small and necesary. I always felt that I have to keep a balance in my writing, like if I let myself write too many negative things then I'll just explode. Which is a perfectly reasonable theory, in my opinion.
Anyways.
I love the sun.
I like writing poetry. Not all of it is going to be a historical epic or an ode to something. These are like little glimpses of the subway in my mind; my train of thought isn't always artsy or symbolic or deep or meaningful, but I like to think that art takes ordinary things and makes people see a sort of beauty in them. So, look around- I've been doing this for a while. Enjoy ♥

sun is lovely. i haven't seen or felt any in days. wah. i love rain, but i'm ready for sunshine and grass lounging. i know what you mean: i write too many negative things and explode all the time. but i'm usually able to pick up the pieces and reshape my soul in some way. all it takes is a bit of deep breathing, tea and maybe a cigarette... and sun! i'm excited for summer.
